Diving down into England’s deepest lake Wastwater, exploring the clear depths, cold water swimming, in freshwater lakes is such an enriching experience!

This mesmerising image was taken on a trip to The Lake District in October and the water had certainly started to cool by this point, I love the different aspect it provides this well-photographed area of the UK and the base of Scarfell Pike, Englands Heights peak in the background.

Ben lives in Newquay, Cornwall, and specialises in coastal and in water fine art photography. Having lived in London working in an office job the call of the ocean was such that in 2018 he moved to Cornwall and found a reinvigorated love of the ocean. Photography from being a passionate hobby became a career.
